Payments

Payments are due on the 15th of every month, unless that date falls on a weekend or holiday. In those instances, payment is due the following business day.

We have the following options for payments.

  1. In Person --- At the PSA office. Payments may be made via cash, check, or credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Please note that a 4% surcharge will be applied to all payments made by credit or debit card.
  2. Phone --- By calling the PSA office and paying via credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Please note that a 4% surcharge will be applied to all payments made by credit or debit card. At times of high volume, customers may have to leave a message for us to call them back.
  3. Mail --- Payment must be RECEIVED in the PSA office by the 15th to avoid late penalty. The PSA is not responsible for payments lost or received late through the postal service.
  4. Drop Box --- We have a convenient drop box located at the front of the PSA office, just left of the main entrance door. The drop box payment will be checked at closing (4:30 pm) on the due date for payments. Any payments made after closing will be processed the next business day and will incur the 10% penalty.
  5. Auto Drafts --- Auto Draft is an automatic bank account withdrawal system for paying your bill. It's easy, convenient, and free! No checks, No postage, and No late charges! Just download and complete the auto draft form and attach a voided check and return to our office. Continue to pay your bill until you see the message AUTODRAFT printed on your bill.
  6. Bank Locations --- We accept payments at two banks – Powell Valley National Bank (Wise branch only) and Miners Exchange Bank (Wise and Coeburn branches only). When paying at a bank location, you are required to have your current bill postcard and pay the exact amount that is due on your bill. No partial payments are accepted. Payments are only accepted at a bank location through the due date – no past due payments will be accepted. When paying at a bank location you must adhere to bank policies. If you are paying on the due date, you must pay within the bank's cutoff time. You will need to check with the bank before paying, as each bank operates under different rules.
  7. Online --- The online payment option is provided by Paymentus Corporation, a third party automated payment service that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Electronic Checking. Paymentus will charge a service fee for each transaction, which covers payment handling and processing charges. Please note that if online payment is not made by 4:30 p.m. on the due date, late penalties will apply. If you make a payment online after the cut-off time of 4:30 p.m. there will be a 2 day turn around in posting to your account. Example: If you make a payment on Monday at 6 p.m., your payment will not be posted to your account until Wednesday morning.

  8. Automated Pay-by-Telephone --- An automated telephone payment option is also provided by Paymentus, who will charge a service fee for each transaction. Please note that if payment is not made by 4:30 p.m. on the due date, late penalties will apply. If you make a payment by telephone after the cut-off time of 4:30 p.m. there will be a 2 day turn around in posting to your account.
